To enter an upcoming meet, click on the available meet(s) below for a meet announcement. After determining which events to swim, complete the following form and click on 'Submit Entries'. You should receive an "entry confirmation" page on your screen, as well as an automated email detailing your entries. Please print the confirmation email, and retain for your records.

Entry Guidelines From the Mako Registrar

Mako has established the following guidelines to eliminate any potential registration problems:

1. Use the online entry system to enter meets before MAKO deadlines. Also please make sure you click on the correct meet name.

2. When I received your entries, I will send you an email stating "entries received". My email address is makoentries@yahoo.com. This is your *second* confirmation that we should have received your entries. If you don't hear from me within 24 hours, I likely haven't received your entries. Please resubmit them online.

3. ***MOST IMPORTANTLY*** Following the meet entry deadline, we will post the *draft* entries for a meet online, and we will email all Mako families a link to these entries. Swimmers and/or parents must check these draft entries to determine if your swimmer is entered correctly. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THESE DRAFT ENTRIES ARE CORRECT. If your swimmer is not listed on the draft entries, then I have (likely) not received your entries online. Mako will not be responsible for any deck entries, once the entries are finalized. (Aside: if you enter a relay, you will not be in it. The coaches determine who will swim for MAKO. Relays do not count in the total events a swimmer may swim in a day.)

4. If you find an error in the draft entries, or if your swimmer is not listed, please email me immediately (makoentries@yahoo.com).

5. MAKO will then post *final* entries online. Please note that any changes made in the draft entries will *not* appear online until this final entries list is posted online. Parents can check the final entries to a meet which will be on the MAKO website generally one week after the MAKO deadline.

6. When too many events are sent in, the last one(s) will be dropped to bring the entry into alignment with the meet announcement specifications. If the swimmer disagrees with the events, then he/she must let me know before the final deadline for changes.

7. Once the entries are sent in to the Meet Director, no changes can be made. All issues must be addressed before the deadline to fix any problems found in the draft entries.

As Registrar for MAKO, my goal is for error-free registrations. I know we can do it! Parents, you are responsible for your child's entries, so please check the draft and final entries within a day or two of their posting on the MAKO website.

Again, my goal is for error-free entries for every child who wants to swim in any meet. Let us all do our part to make this happen.

Additional Registration Details / Links:

  • U.S.A. sanctioned meets require registration with USA Swimming.
  • If you don't know your entry time, leave the field blank and Coach Moore will enter a time for you.
  • Entry fees are deducted from your Meet Escrow Fund (M.E.F.)
  • All late entries are assessed a $5.00 fee which is deducted from your M.E.F.
  • You are financial responsible for ALL entries -- regardless of actual participation.
  • Please print out your entries confirmation.
  • Mako relays are chosen by coaching staff and entry fees are covered by the team.
